I am a lover of the great outdoors, and I am happiest when I am out in the mountains with my man. (It's like we have the whole world all to ourselves.) I am unashamedly a Christian with a pro-creation world view ~ I see God's design in all of His handiwork.
But since we do own real property in a real world, I have a real job in retail as a customer service supervisor. While I enjoy my customers and co-workers, I just can't wait until I can go back outside and play!

God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters and a handsome son-in-law. I am mom to Ashley and momma-come-lately to Ashley's college friend Chantal, who is married to Zach. Dan is my husband of 25 years and my best friend... and my golfing partner... and my hunting and hiking buddy... and, well, you get the picture.
Sundays will always find me at First Baptist Church where I play the piano, keyboard, and organ and sing in the choir. With my blood relatives far away, my church family is priceless, as is the time I spend with my Heavenly Father in His house. His Word is an integral part of my life, and I hope that that is always reflected in what I do and say ~ even in what you read here on my blog.
